I began my career as a real estate sales and marketing consultant in Hawkes Bay. I had enjoyed two previous careers, firstly teaching and then managing a busy inner city surgical practice. At one stage we were a farming family. I’m pretty adaptable and look ‘OK’ in high heels, low heels or even gumboots!
I spent my early years in Wellington where my father was an architect, surrounding me with paperwork which has led to my love of design and of homes. I was educated at Hutt Valley High School, before attending Wellington Teachers Training College.
This early life in Wellington gave me a fondness for the whole city which has never diminished. My return to Wellington, to live in Karori and to work in the Khandallah office is a welcome one. I feel I have grown and so too has the city.
Whilst being based in the Khandallah office I am versatile as my sphere of influence stretches through all the western suburbs - Karori, Northland, Ngaio, Khandallah and to Johnsonville, Newlands.
I believe real estate requires an exceptional level of people and communication skills. My life experiences enable me to relate well to people in any situation and I have a professional attitude combined with a perception and tolerance of peoples differences and needs. My well developed negotiation skills and high level of energy and enthusiasm for marketing produces results.
